Day 1: Arrival in Uganda.
Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, AG Safaris’ experienced guides will welcome you and transport you to your hotel in Kampala. You’ll have time to relax and prepare for your upcoming adventure.
Day 2: Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
After an early breakfast, you’ll set off on a scenic drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, passing through traditional villages, rolling hills, and lush forests. You’ll arrive in time for lunch and a guided safari game drive in the afternoon.
Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
You’ll start your day early with a sunrise game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, followed by breakfast and a transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, where you’ll check in to your lodge and have an orientation with your guide.
Day 4-5: Gorilla Habituation Experience.
Over the next two days, you’ll take part in the gorilla habituation experience. You’ll set out early each morning with experienced guides and researchers to track and observe gorilla families as they acclimate to human presence. You’ll have plenty of time to take photos and observe the gorillas’ behavior and social dynamics. You’ll also participate in data collection and habituation training alongside researchers and conservationists.
Day 6: Cultural Tour and Departure.
On your final day, you’ll visit nearby villages and cultural sites to learn about the traditional ways of life of the local communities. You’ll have the opportunity to interact with villagers, learn about their customs, and purchase locally made crafts. After lunch, you’ll depart for Entebbe International Airport for your return flight home.
