Day 1: Welcome to Murchison Falls National Park.
On the first day of your safari, our friendly and experienced guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kampala and drive you to Murchison Falls National Park. The scenic journey takes approximately 5-6 hours and offers stunning views of the Ugandan countryside. After arriving at the park, you’ll have the chance to settle into your accommodations before embarking on a thrilling game drive through the park. Day 2: Boat Cruise and Waterfall Hike.
After a delicious breakfast, we’ll set off on a boat cruise along the Nile River. This is the perfect opportunity to spot hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species that call the river home. The highlight of the day is a hike to the top of Murchison Falls, where you’ll witness the awe-inspiring sight of the Nile River being forced through a narrow gorge before plummeting 43 meters into the river below. After the hike, we’ll return to our accommodations for dinner and relaxation.
Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking and Return to Kampala.
On the final day of the safari, we’ll wake up early and set off on a chimpanzee tracking adventure in Budongo Forest Reserve. This pristine forest is home to a thriving population of chimpanzees, as well as a variety of other primates and bird species. After the trek, we’ll have lunch and then begin our journey back to Kampala, arriving in the early evening.
