Along the way, we will make stops at interesting sites such as the Equator, where you can take memorable photos and experience the feeling of standing in both the Northern and Southern hemispheres at the same time.
After a lunch break, we will continue our journey to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, where we will check into our lodge and relax for the evening.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking.
On day two of your tour, we will embark on a gorilla trekking adventure in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. Our experienced guides will take you through the lush forest and mountains to locate the gorillas in their natural habitat.
As you trek, you will have the opportunity to see other wildlife such as golden monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, and various bird species. The trek can be physically demanding, but the reward of seeing the gorillas up close in their natural habitat is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
After spending time with the gorillas, we will return to our lodge for a much-needed rest and to reflect on the day’s adventure.
Day 3: Optional Activities and Return to Kampala.
On the final day of your tour, you will have the option to participate in additional activities such as a nature walk or cultural tour. These activities are a great way to learn more about the local culture and wildlife of Uganda.
After lunch, we will start our journey back to Kampala, stopping at interesting sites along the way. We will arrive in Kampala in the evening, where our tour will end with a drop-off at your hotel.
